Subin George is a Bioinformatician at the Institute for Biomedical Informatics at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine. He studies the epigenetic regulation of ribosomal DNA and became interested in this topic because of a dearth of computational tools to study the genetics and epigenetics of this highly transcribed repetitive gene.
